Bridge of Sighs
Bridge of Sighs (Bridge of Sighs, Ita: Ponte dei Sospiri) is one of the most famous bridge in Venice. "Bridge of Sighs" is the reason given is the name after hearing the old jail time for those convicted through this bridge.
According to legend, the last prisoner was causing a view of Venice sigh. The bridge was given this name in the 19th century by Lord Byron. Based on the review of the last time the prisoners inside look at Venice this name was proposed. It appears to be located in a very small area of the bridge window. A local legend reflects a different aspect of the Bridge of Sighs. According to belief, the sun set below the bridge of the pair kissing is said to be immortal love.
Palazzo del Prigioni and the bridge that connects the Palazzo Ducale is one of Venice's most famous spot. Located in the north of Italy bridges are made of white limestone and has windows on the bottom. Bridge of Sighs, was built in 1602 by Antonio da Ponte.
